Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor said on Monday that according to information from the European Commission, the problem due to which Slovenia today vetoed the opening of three policy chapters in Croatia's accession negotiations with the European Union would be resolved soon.

The good news is that two chapters were closed, that we are wrapping up theyear with 17 closed chapters, as planned, while the current blockade is badnews, Kosor said, adding she believed it was the result of internal issues inSlovenia.

Speaking on Croatian Radio, Kosor said she would meet Slovenian PM BorutPahor if necessary to see what Slovenia intended to do.

Since I have information from the European Commission, I believe this istemporary, she said, adding all remaining issues were expected to be resolvedat the next accession conference on February 16, including the opening ofnegotiations on the chapter "Judiciary and Fundamental Rights".

Speaking of artillery logbooks sought by the Hague war crimes tribunal,Kosor said the government had done everything to locate them. She recalled thatan extensive administrative investigation was carried out, as well as a searchof flats and lawyers' offices that was stopped in The Hague.

Speaking of the tribunal's decision to order the government to stopexamining the documents that were seized, Kosor said the tribunal could restassured that everything was done by the law and based on leads.

"We can't go beyond that and we will prepare a report on everythingthat was done up to that moment and I believe that chief prosecutor SergeBrammertz will take that into account when evaluating if Croatia is cooperatingwith the tribunal."

Kosor voiced confidence that Croatia would join the EU in 2012 as planned.
