Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic said on Wednesday Serbia wanted the best possible relations with Croatia, with which it had many outstanding issues.
Speaking on state television RTS, Jeremic underlined Serbia's wish toestablish with Croatian President-elect Ivo Josipovic "the kind ofrelations that it couldn't have with (outgoing) Croatian President StjepanMesic".
"We hope these relations will lead to the settlement of vital issuesimportant for both countries' citizens," said Jeremic.
He claimed there was exceptional good will on the Serbian side and that onewould not give up settling any outstanding issue, including those pertaining torefugees and the border.
Commenting on Josipovic's statement "that he understands Serbia'sfrustration about Kosovo," Jeremic said it was not good to use such aformulation for delicate issues in the neighbourhood and called for workingtogether for a common future.
