Britain's High Court on Thursday granted bail to Bosnian wartime presidency member Ejup Ganic pending an extradition hearing set for March 29, news agencies said.

The bail was set at 300,000 pounds (330,000 euros).

Ganic, 64, was arrested at London's Heathrow Airport on March 1 based on a warrant issued by Serbia in connection with his role in the killing of dozens of Yugoslav army soldiers in Sarajevo at the start of the Bosnian war in 1992.

The Serbian Ministry of Justice sent an extradition request to the British authorities on Wednesday.
