The Croatian Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs (MVEP) and the European Union Delegation to the Republic of Croatia will again this year, as traditional, mark Europe Day, 9 May with many events and activities and in that way celebrate Europe Week.

The official opening of the Week will be held on Monday 6 May with a press conference by First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Vesna Pusic and the Head of the EU Delegation to Croatia Paul Vandoren.

The most significant feature of the Week will be a multi-media exhibition entitled "I - a citizen of the EU" which after Zagreb will tour Split, Osijek and Rijeka.

All the activities will be free of charge and open to all citizens and a competition will be held with the 1st prize being a trip to Brussels early July.
