Slovenia has no interest to halt Croatia on its path to the European Union, but we want outstanding issues resolved, if they are not resolved, then we want to know when and how will they be resolved, Slovenian Foreign Minister Karl Erjavec said after talks with his Croatian counterpart Vesna Pusic on the margins of an informal meeting of EU foreign ministers held in Pafos, Cyprus, the Slovenian media reported.

At their meeting, Pusic and Erjavec made no progress on the issue of Ljubljanska Banka and its clients in Croatia, the Slovenian news agency STA and Slovenian Radio reported.

After the talks with Pusic, Erjavec reiterated Slovenia's positions, stressing Slovenia had no interest in halting Croatia's EU admission,

He also reiterated that Slovenia was not under pressure to ratify Croatia's EU Accession Treaty and that such stories in the Croatian media were a "spin".
