Croatian Foreign and European Union Minister Vesna Pusic will fly to London on Wednesday to pay a working visit to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Croatian foreign ministry said.

Pusic will hold talks with her British counterpart William Hague and with the president of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Sir Suma Chakrabarti.

The Pusic-Hague talks will revolve around the bilateral relations and the process of ratification of Croatia's treaty of accession with the European Union. More than a half countries in the 27-strong EU bloc have so far ratified the document so far. Last week, Luxembourg's parliament was the 16th do to so on 10 October, and a day later, the Congress of Deputies, the lower house of the Spanish bicameral parliament, unanimously ratified Croatia's Treaty of Accession.

British representatives have announced that their country is likely to ratify the Croatian treaty by this Christmas.
