Croatia's athlete Blanka Vlasic won the women's high jump competition of the Diamond League in Monte Carlo on Friday as the lone jumper to clear 1.97 meters, thus practically securing victory in the overall standings.
Vlasic cleared 1.97 meters from second attempt. Doreen Amate of Nigeria was second (1.92 m) and Melanie Melfort was third (1.89 m).
This is Vlasic's fourth win in this year's Diamond League series.
