A quake measuring 4.0 on the Richter scale rattled a large area of Split on Friday morning, the Croatian seismological agency reported.
The earthquake, with the epicentre 30 kilometres north of the city of Split, that is near the Peruca accumulation lake, hit the area at 0731 hrs Friday.
