Members of the "Suncica" association of women who were raped during the Homeland War association on Tuesday presented a letter to Veterans' Minister Predrag Matic for Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic asking for a indiscriminate application of the law in Croatia, saying that the law on the rights of minorities has a priority over the law referring to war crimes victims.

Representatives of the association told reporters that war rape victims did not have the status of war victims while rapists were still walking free.

Suncica members ask for a improvement of their status and more sensibility when it comes to laws directly effecting war victims.
