A flood wave on the Sava River which arrived from Slovenia to Zagreb on Sunday was passing further east on early Monday morning.

According to the Croatian flood protection service, the water level on the Sava was 463 centimetres and was stagnating on early Monday morning in the Croatian capital.

Some 100 Croatian Army soldiers were deployed in the flooded area of the municipality of Brdovec, west of Zagreb, to help the local population last night.
