Executive Director of the Dinamo football club Zdravko Mamic, who was taken into the police station for questioning over an act of hate speech, will be kept in the police station overnight in Zagreb, according to his lawyers' statements on late Friday evening.
Mamic was questioned by the police for three hours after he used foul-mouthed speech and hurled insults against Education and Sport Minister Zeljko Jovanovic. Mamic's interview with a local radio drew condemnation from Croatian top officials, political parties and other associations.
