The presidents of Croatia and Serbia, Ivo Josipovic and Tomislav Nikolic respectively, could meet for the first time at a meeting of the Igman Initiative, which is scheduled to be held in Montenegro's capital Podgorica in November, the Belgrade-based Danas daily reported on Monday.

The Igman Initiative meeting is expected to be attended by the presidents of Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina, the daily said.

Igman Initiative deputy chairman Aleksandar Popov told the daily that negotiations with the offices of all the presidents were currently under way.

Since Nikolic stepped into office, the presidents of Croatia and Serbia have not officially met.

The Igman Initiative is an umbrella association whose projects are implemented at both micro- and macro-levels. It comprises NGO representatives, political and economic analysts, media, and local government representatives, who present, asses and design projects at joint sessions.
