Dalmatia ranked 3rd top party scene in history

The website AskMen.com has compiled a list of the 10 ultimate party scenes of the past 80 years, ranking the southern Croatian region of Dalmatia third.

According to the website, for "music, dancing and bad behaviour, therewas no place better than New York in the 1920s. The inspiration for F. ScottFitzgerald's The Great Gatsby, New Yorkers began to put priority on modernglitz and artistic individuality. Large weekly parties in honor of thegeneration's great athletes such as Babe Ruth and Jack Dempsey were the norm.But it all came to a crashing halt on October 24, 1929, as a decade offinancial depression took over".

Buenos Aires in the 1950s was ranked the second ultimate party scene inhistory.

"The cultural epicenter of South America during the 1950s was Argentina'scapital city. Buenos Aires served as one of the top five destinations in theworld for the jet-set crowd. In spite of political unrest, you would often findthe likes of Porfirio Rubirosa romancing Zsa Zsa Gabor or Ava Gardner after anight at the Teatro Colon," said Ask.Men.com.

The Dalmatian Coast in the 1990s was ranked third.

The likes of Bill Gates and GwynethPaltrow could be seen aboard yachts or strolling through town."

The other party scenes in the Top Ten include Dubai in the 21st century,Park City in the 1970s, Ibiza in the 1990s, Monte Carlo in the 1980s, St.Barth's in the 1970s, London in the 1960s, and Goa in the 1970s.
