Croatia's team consisting of David Sain, Martin Sinkovic, Damir Martin and Valent Sinkovic won the silver medal in the men's rowing quadruple sculls at the Olympic Games in London on Friday.

Thus, Croatia bagged the first medal at the London Games.

Germany's team was the winner of this final race and Australia's team claimed the bronze.

The Germans set the pace for the length of the final and then accelerated clear of the Croatians, who had been unbeaten in 2012 up until the Olympic final.
