The bodies of six of a total of eight Czech tourists killed in an accident when the bus they were travelling in crashed into the safety fence and overturned on a motorway in central Croatia have been identified, head of the Karlovac general hospital Nedjeljko Strkic told the media on Tuesday.
The youngest passenger who was killed in the crash was a girl born in 2006, two men were born in 1949 and 1955 and five women killed in the crash were between 60 and 70 years old.
The bus they were travelling in is in Karlovac and an investigation is under way.
The bus overturned on the motorway near the Krpani tunnel, at around 4:30 a.m,
The motorway is Croatia's most vital route and links capital Zagreb with the southern Adriatic city of Split.
