The coalition of the Croatian Party of Rights (HSP) Dr Ante Starcevic and the Croatian Pure Party of Rights (HCSP) on Friday submitted to the State Election Commission its lists of candidates for the December 4 parliamentary election.

The slates were submitted by the president of the HSP Dr Ante Starcevic, Ruza Tomasic, and the president of the HCSP, Josip Miljak.

Tomasic told reporters she expected the coalition to win eight seats in Parliament. "We have such expectations because we are credible in what we say and what we do. We didn't sell out and we didn't betray ourselves," she said.

When asked about their possible coalition with the ruling HDZ party, Tomasic said that was out of the question. Speaking of possible post-election coalitions, she said it all depended on "who offers what", stressing that "it's better to be a decent person than a sellout."
