Serbian Interior Minister Ivica Dacic said on Wednesday it was unrealistic for Kosovo to remain part of Serbia, adding that one of the possible solutions would be the division of Kosovo.
Dacic told Radio B92 that the present-day international relations did not allow the territory to remain one with Serbia. He also called upon all parties who criticised his opinion to present their own proposals for settling the issue.
Kosovo's ethnic Albanians declared independence over three years ago, but Serbia rejected Kosovo's independence
"This is my opinion, although neither Belgrade nor Pristina like it. But I am a realistic politician and I see no other solution," Dacic said in an interview with the Pristina-based daily in Albanian "Zeri".
