Police entered the premises of Croatian Motorways Ltd (HAC), the state-owned company for construction and maintenance of motorways, on Wednesday morning to investigate alleged illegal business dealings, spokesman for the Interior Ministry Krunoslav Borovec has confirmed.

Fimi Media owner Nevenka Jurak was arrested in August.

Also arrested in connection with the Fimi Media scandal was a former customs administration chief and Croatian Democratic Union treasurer, Mladen Barisic.
