German Chancellor Angela Merkel will officially visit Croatia on Monday, at the invitation of Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor, the Croatia government said in a statement on Sunday.
According to the statement, after the welcome ceremony outside the government headquarters, Merkel will sign the "Golden Book". After that she is scheduled to hold talks with Kosor.
A news conference is scheduled after the talks.
Kosor will give dinner Merkel's honor.
Croatian President Ivo Josipovic will receive Merkel in his office, the President's Office said in a statement.
