Croatian PM in audience with Pope

Pope Benedict XVI granted a private audience to a Croatian government delegation headed by Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor on Saturday.

The Croatian delegation included the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Ivan Suker, the Minister of Culture, Bozo Biskupic, and the Minister of Family, Veterans' Affairs and Intergenerational Solidarity, Tomislav Ivic.

After the meeting with the Pope, Kosor will have talks with the Holy See's Secretary of State, Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone.

In the afternoon, the prime minister is scheduled to meet with the head of the Pontifical Croatian College of St Jerome, Jure Bogdan, the Secretary General of the Synod of Bishops, Nikola Eterovic, and the Apostolic Nuncio to Kuwait, Archbishop Petar Rajic.
