The head of the Islamic community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Husein Kavazovic, on Thursday sent a letter to the UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-Moon, protesting against the way a debate on the international criminal tribunal was organised in the UN headquarters in New York and also because of the fact that, Munira Subasic, chairwoman of an association of Bosniak mothers whose children were killed in Srebrenica and Zepa was thrown out of the conference hall where the discussion was held.

He accused the UN General Assembly chairman, Serbian diplomat Vuk Jeremic, of using his position to revise the facts about the wars in the former Yugoslavia and to relativise crimes, war criminals and particularly victims of the Srebrenica genocide.
