The Zagreb County Court building was evacuated on Friday morning following a bomb tip-off and a hearing in the trial of ex-Prime Minister Ivo Sanader was adjourned, the court said.

The tip-off was a hoax, police said, adding that they were trying to identify the anonymous caller.

Former Foreign Minister Mate Granic, who was scheduled to testify in the trial this morning, left the courthouse after the bomb threat and told reporters he was returning at noon.

Witness Robert Tafra was also expected to take the stand today.

Sanader is accused of receiving 10 million euros in bribes and abusing his authority as Prime Minister to secure for Hungary's oil company MOL a dominant position in the leading Croatian oil and gas company INA. He is also accused of taking about 3.6 million kunas in kickbacks from Austria's Hypo Bank.
