Regional heads of state to attend celebration of Croatia's EU entry

The presidents of all countries in the region have confirmed their arrival in Zagreb on 30 June to attend the ceremony marking Croatia's European Union entry, the Office of the Croatian President reported on Tuesday

Invitations have been sent to members of the Bosnia and Herzegovina collective presidency, the presidents of Slovenia, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo.

On 1 July, Nebojsa Radmanovic, Bakir Izetbegovic and Zeljko Komsic, as well as Borut Pahor, Tomislav Nikolic, Filip Vujanovic, Gjorge Ivanov, Bujar Nishani and Atifete Jahjaga will also attended a breakfast reception organised by Croatian President Ivo Josipovic. The breakfast reception is expected to focus on the continuation of cooperation in the region and promotion of the EU enlargement policy following Croatia's EU entry.

Croatian President Josipovic is also invited to attend a meeting of the regional NGO movement - the Igman Initiative - also scheduled to be held in Zagreb on July 1.
