According to announcements, May 12 is the next global protest day of the "indignant" or "occupiers" all over the world following similar global protests on October 15 last year, when millions of people who wanted "a real democracy" demonstrated.

Five Croatian trade union federations on Friday called on its members and other Croatians to join in this global initiative, by attending a rally to be held in Zagreb's main square at 1800 hrs Saturday.

They said in their statement that citizens were bearing the brunt of eliminating "the consequences of someone else's wrong economic policies that have led to the present crisis".
