The Croatian People's Party (HNS) leader Radimir Cacic has said that the government's plan to create 150,000 new jobs this year is not feasible as the new employment requires necessary structural reform of key economic branches.

The HNS leader told a news conference in Zagreb on Friday that Croatia should be happy if no more jobs were lost in 2011.

Cacic said that since Jadranka Kosor took the helm of the government a total of 113,701 jobs had been lost. In addition, there are 10,000 people who go to work but do not receive their salaries, the HNS chief said.

And now this government is promising us the creation of 150,000 new jobs in a less than one year's time, he said.
