Over 1.5 million voters, or 46.06 per cent, voted in Croatia's parliamentary elections by 1600 hours on Sunday, the State Election Commission (DIP) said.

According to data from 6,170 out of 6,572 polling stations, 1,573,556 voters, or 46.06 per cent, cast their ballots by 1600 hours. At the previous election, held four years ago, the turnout by 1600 hours was 48.13 per cent.

Only four minor incidents have been reported at polling stations. They involved people under the influence of alcohol, who were removed from the polling stations by the police and the voting process was not disrupted, DIP spokesman Hrvoje Sadaric said.
