Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor said on Saturday that the statement by the opposition coalition led by the Social Democratic Party (SDP) that none of them would form a post-election coalition with the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) showed that they feared the HDZ's election victory.

"Those parties never form coalitions with the HDZ anyway, and yes, this only shows that they very much fear the HDZ's election victory," Kosor told reporters in Begovo Razdolje where she visited a children's hospital.

Asked what the main focus of the HDZ election campaign would be - the EU, the economy or something else - the PM said that one needed to wait for the election campaign to start, which is when her party would present its election programme.

Asked if the temporary extradition of Dragan Paravinja to Croatia would shed light on the disappearance of Antonia Bilic, Kosor said she hoped Paravinja would shed some light on the case and that investigation would give results.

Asked about possibilities for the Hungarian oil giant MOL to take over the Croatian oil company INA, Kosor said: "We've already said all we had to say about this case."
