The Croatian Parliament Presidency will meet with the chairs of the parliamentary political groups on Tuesday to agree on how to conclude the last sitting of the sixth Parliament after most opposition parties have decided to boycott Parliament's work.

A motion for a Presidency meeting was put forward last Friday by the parliamentary group of the Independent Democratic Serb Party (SDSS) after the ruling coalition, of which the SDSS is a member, failed for the second consecutive Friday to secure a quorum for a vote on the discussed items on the agenda.

SDSS deputy Milorad Pupovac said then that his party would not take an active part in the work of Parliament until an agreement was reached on how the present sitting would be concluded. He said that the situation in Parliament over the last few weeks had been seriously undermining the values of parliamentary democracy.
