The world-famous actress Angelina Jolie will not visit the northern Croatian Adriatic archipelago of Brijuni on Friday.
The local theatre Ulysses said in a statement that Jolie's security had estimated that it would be impossible to protect her peace and privacy during the planned visit to the theatre Ulysses and that Jolie "cancelled her visit to Brijuni with great regret".
The Ulysses theatre on Thursday stated that Jolie would visit Brijuni on Friday as a guest of actor Rade Serbedzija and the Ulysses theatre to watch the play 'King Lear', which the theatre's ensemble has been performing on the Mali Brijun island for ten years.
Serbedzija, a Croatian actor with an international career, plays the main role in the play directed by his wife Lenka Udovicki.
