Amnesty International Croatia will launch the signing of a petition for Croatia's ratification of the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance (ICCPED) as well as a petition of support to Russia's Pussy Riot, after three members of the feminist punk band have been sentenced to two years for singing a profanity-laced song against Vladimir Putin in a Russian Orthodox church in Moscow.
The campaign will be held ahead of the start of a concert of the U.S. band Red Hot Chili Peppers in Zagreb on Wednesday evening.
The signing of the petitions is part of the Art for Amnesty initiative in which AI activists work with musicians, actors and artists around the world.
