Incumbent Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandic proclaimed his victory in the local election in Zagreb on Sunday evening, stating that this was the beginning of a good way for him and his team in Zagreb and Croatia.
"We have won. Whether it's 44% or 46% for mayor and 25% or 27% for the City Assembly, is irrelevant. We have won today, we have passed the test of responsibility and whether we will truly pass will be determined in the next year or two. These are not our last elections. This is just the start of a good way for a team that believes in me and in whom I believe. We won't stop at the boundaries of Zagreb", Bandic said.
He said that he would form the city assembly with those who wish to do good for Zagreb.
