INA stock immediately most liquid after 7.5-month suspension

At the beginning of Monday's trading in oil company INA shares on the Zagreb Stock Exchange, after a 7.5-month suspension, the stock became the most liquid, with the price oscillating wildly.

By 2.10pm, INA stock turned over HRK 2.76 million. The price in the first transaction, at 2pm, was HRK 4,360 per share, up 3.8 per cent from April 27.

In the first minutes of trading, the price jumped seven per cent to HRK 4,498. Around 2.10pm, the price was HRK 4,159. down 0.97 per cent from April 27.

Croatian regulator HANFA on Thursday lifted a suspension of trading in INA stock on the ZSE after seven and a half months.

Premarket trading in INA shares lasted from 9.30am to 2pm, contrary to the ZSE customary pretrading from 9.30 to 10am.

Since the INA stock is not in the Crobex, the jump in its price will not affect the index. At 2.10pm, the Crobex declined 0.19 per cent to 1,750 points, while the Crobex10 declined 0.45 per cent to HRK 979. Regular trading amounted to HRK 7.6 million.
