Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko has been linked to a move to oil rich Man City, owned by Sheik Mansour. The Bosnia national team attacker’s agent is reportedly currently in Manchester discussing the transfer details.
The English media report that the ‘Bosnian Diamond’ is at City’s doorstep, and talks between City and Dzeko’s agent allegedly started on Monday evening.
Dzeko currently has a contract with German Bundesliga side Wolfsburg until 2013, and the club has proven to be a tough negotiator over the past year, constantly upping the price tag on their hitman. The English press reports that it may take a €35 million bid to draw Dzeko from the Wolves.
If all goes ahead as the English media expect, a deal between the clubs and player may be signed as early as next week as the transfer window opens on January 1st, 2011.
