An exhibition "The artist on holidays_2013" opened on Friday night at the Zagreb Museum of Contemporary Art and will present the works of eleven exclusively Avant Garde artists created over the summer in Istria.
This is the second summer the exhibition has been organised in Croatia under the auspices of the Institute for Avant Garde art and the Ministry of Culture in partnership with the Valamar tourism company.
Culture Minister Andrea Zlatar Violic and Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandic opened the exhibition and welcomed artists who have come from all over the world for participating in the exhibition.
The eleven artists presented at the exhibition are: Zeljko Kipke (Croatia), Dan Perjovschi (Romania), Rudolf Sikora (Slovakia), Zdisław Sosnowski (France), Ben Patterson (USA), Eric Anderson (Denmark), Marko Pogacnik (Slovenia), Oleg Kulik (Russia), Zivko Grozdanic Gera (Serbia), Plavi Nosovi (Russia) and Balint Szombathy (Hungary).
