Sumic wins silver at taekwondo champ'ship in South Korea

A member of Croatia's national taekwondo team, Marina Sumic, has won a silver medal in the category under 62 kilograms at the World Taekwondo Championship which is being held in Gyeongju, South Korea, on 1-6 May.

Sumic reached the finals after Karine Sergerie of Canada surrendered the semi-final match, and in the finals she lost to Rangsiya Nisaisom 1-3.

Sumic's silver is the second medal of Croatian representatives at the championship, after Ana Zaninovic on Tuesday won a gold in the category under 53 kilograms.
