Reichelt first in Hinterstoder Super G, Kostelic fifth

Austrian Alpine skiier Hannes Reichelt on Saturday won a World Cup Super G race in Hinterstoder, Austria, while Ivica Kostelic of Croatia finished the race fifth (+1.19), increasing his lead in the overall World Cup standings as his closest rivals had poorer results.

Benjamin Raich of Austria was second (+0.34), and Bode Miller of the USA was third (+0.93).

As for Kostelic's rivals competing for the Grand Crystal Globe, Aksel Lund Svindal of Norway was 14th, Didier Cuche of Switzerland was 19th, and Silvan Zurbriggen of Switzerland did not take part in the race.

In the overall World Cup standings Kostelic leads with 1,223 points, followed by Zurbiggen with 703 points, Cuche with 685 points, and Svindal with 681 points.
