Milojevic wins gold at 2011 IPC swimming championships

Sanja Milojevic of Croatia won a gold medal in the women's 5,000-metre marathon in Berlin on Sunday, the last day of the 2011 International Paralympic Committee Swimming European Championships.

Milojevic finished in 1:14:48.80. Judit Tarjanyi of Hungary finished second in 1:26:12.20, while Olha Pasholoka of Ukraine won the bronze, finishing in 1:54:17.10.

The Croatian team won eight medals at the championships which began on July 3. Mihovil Spanja won a gold, three silvers and a bronze, Milojevic won a gold and a silver, and Kristijan Vincetic won a silver.
