Kostelic 9th in World Cup slalom, 13th in Super-G

Austrian skier Reinfried Herbst on Sunday won a World Cup slalom race in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia, with a time of 1:45.35.

Herbst's compatriot Marcel Hirscher came second (1:45.75), while JulienLizeroux of France was third (1:45.88).

Ivica Kostelic of Croatia was ninth, with a time of 1:46.37, while the othertwo Croatian representatives, Natko Zrncic Dim and Dalibor Samsal, did not makeit to the second run.

Kostelic on Saturday finished a Super-G race at Kranjska Gora as 13th, witha time of 2:33.55. Austria's Hirscher was first with a time of 2:31.30 and KjetilJansrud of Norway was second, finishing in 2:31.75.
