Croatia's State Prosecutor's Office (DORH) said on Wednesday it had received from the US Department of Justice the documentation requested in a case about the purchase of 210 fire trucks for the Croatian Interior Ministry from the Debis company.

DORH was dismissing a newspaper's report on Wednesday that the US had not submitted all the documents requested to investigate bribery in the Daimler case and that it had suppressed 103 key pages.

DORH said the US Department of Justice could not deliver certain documents owing to US laws and that it had referred DORH to Daimler's attorney in the US, who is obliged to cooperate with other countries' investigation bodies in accordance with the settlement reached between the US Department of Justice and Daimler.

DORH said its cooperation in this case with the US Embassy in Croatia and the US Department of Justice was good.
