The Croatian Ministry of Justice on Tuesday received a decision by the Bosnian Minister of Justice allowing the temporary extradition of truck driver Dragan Paravinja to stand trial before the County Court in the coastal city of Sibenik for the attempted rape and murder of teenage girl Antonia Bilic.

The decision has been forwarded to the Sibenik County Court, the Ministry said on its website.
Late last year a Bosnian court sentenced Paravinja to two years and ten months in prison for raping a woman in the Mount Jahorina area of central Bosnia in 2002. He is serving his sentence in Tunjice prison near the northwestern city of Banja Luka from where he is expected to be transferred to Sibenik soon.
Antonia Bilic went missing in the Drnis area of southern Croatia in June 2011 after she was hitchhiking and was picked up by Paravinja. Her body has not been found.
